This is maybe not what people thing of when I mention the word “inspiration”. Maybe you are thinking I am going to show off more Herreshoff style cabins, or even Herreshoff boats (those are tasty) no.. this is much more down to earth and simple. I bought a half hull model of a Sea Sprite 23.

Now I have something I can hang on the wall and look at everyday and it will hopefully make me smile in anticipation rather than sigh in exasperation.

After all, one can never be too inspired to go out and get completely covered in Glassfibre dust:

Bilge filth that probably goes back 50 years:

And not to mention the cold,

Half Hull 4

And that Rain and Snow stuff (people are going to think I am a mailman soon)

This is just a reminder of warmer, sunnier, and more fun days ahead as Flirt Slowly inches forwards to getting relaunched into her natural habitat

A long time sailor who has been away from the water for too long, I am working hard to bring an old and abused boat back to life. When not working on my boat, I can often be found working as a Stage Hand in Atlantic City or just out and about on my Mountain Bike. I really come off as a quiet and boring person when people first meet me.
