Bird on a Boat!

Not everything in life is so serious. I know I can be very serious, but I also find a lot of fun in the little things in life. It does not have to be gut busting for me find the humour in something.

Tonight, while looking up some things for Flirt, I had “skittles” my Green Cheek Conure out. I got her as a rescue a couple of years ago and she is finally getting friendly enough to cuddle without my having to worry about losing my face to her very sharp and strong beak.

So, I look up as I hear her fly into the room and land.. and she is sitting on the Sea Sprite 23 Half hull model I finally hung on the wall. It made me smile, so I thought I would share.

No idea how she will adapt to living on a boat… I wonder if birdies get seasick?

Stay tuned for more updates tomorrow. I got a lot of work done today, but didn’t finish to a point I felt like sharing

A long time sailor who has been away from the water for too long, I am working hard to bring an old and abused boat back to life. When not working on my boat, I can often be found working as a Stage Hand in Atlantic City or just out and about on my Mountain Bike. I really come off as a quiet and boring person when people first meet me.
